Tickets and prices
Short-trip tickets (price level K)
A short-trip ticket enables you to travel for up to three stops from the starting point of your journey. Exceptions from this rule are listed below. These tickets are valid for 20 minutes max. from the time they were validated; changing to another line is not permissible. This short-trip ticket rule does not apply to light rail trains and long-distance train services (e.g. Deutsche Bahn).
Short-trip tickets cannot be used for travelling to and from Dortmund Airport, Parkhaus 4/5, Airport P6 Ost and Airport P6 West.
A one-way ticket to/from the airport costs € 2.00 per passenger each way (children up to the age of six travel free of charge).

The VRR Terms of Transportation shall apply. According to point 7.5 passengers without a valid ticket shall be charged € 60.
